- These tyres transformed my car, even though it's still fairly warm and dry outside for winter tyres, the grip on these is amazing! In adverse weather the difference in grip from my old 'all season' tyres (Goodyear) is even greater. It's the first time I've bought winter tyres, I decided it could be a good idea because of a few close calls in the snow and ice last winter, turns out winter tyres are a very good decision! The upcoming baby Bimmer will sport all twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder engines burning either gasoline or diesel, hauling around a car that's grown in every dimension except height. BMW also is expanding its use of eight-speed automatic transmissions to the 1-series lineup and making the BMW EfficientDynamics technology package standard.
Infiniti prices 2014 QX60 and QX70
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Infiniti said last Friday that the 2014 QX70 SUV -- formerly known as the FX -- will start at $45,945, including destination. The 2014 QX60, formerly the JX, will sticker for $42,545. The QX70 comes in both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive setups, with either a 325-hp, 3.7-liter V6 or a 390-hp 5.0-liter V8.
Next Mustang to feature global design input, Ford says
Wed, 02 Mar 2011Ford Motor Co.'s design studios worldwide will provide styling ideas for an American icon: the next generation Mustang. "It is a common process we [now] use on every vehicle," Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president for global product development, said Tuesday at the Geneva auto show. Ford's next-generation pony car will be the first Mustang with styling themes proposed by studios in Europe, Australia and other regions.
