Sebastian Vettel keeps Infiniti happy
Fri, 15 Apr 2011Sebastian Vettel drives an Infiniti G37 on track It must be a dream lifestyle for any 23 year old man. Driving fast cars in glamorous locations, and being paid a shed-load of money to do it. True, the sybaritic and hedonistic lifestyles enjoyed by F1 drivers in the ’60s and ’70s have long gone, to be replaced by workouts, mineral water and early nights.
F1: Bahrain Grand Prix back on – India Grand Prix now in December
Sun, 05 Jun 20112011 Bahrain Grand Prix - back on in October The start of the F1 Circus this year was put back after the Arab Spring made the Gulf Kindom of Bahrain a less than suitable venue for something as frivolous as Formula One, leading to the postponement of the 2011 Bahrain Grand Prix. But now it seems the Bahranians are convinced they’ve put a lid on the populist move to topple their regime (how they’ve done that is debatable), so the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council met on Friday and reinstated the Bahrain Grand Prix for 30th October. That date was originally supposed to be the date of the inaugural Indian Grand Prix, but that too has been pushed back and will now take place at the end of the season, at the same time as the FIA Annual General Assembly and Prize-Giving Gala on December 11th.
Bahrain Grand Prix (2012) RESULT
Sun, 22 Apr 2012Bahrain F1 Grand Prix 2012 With Red Bull and McLaren filling the front two rows of the grid in the Bahrain Grand Prix, will we see normal business resume for F1? From a mix and match grid at the first three grand Prix of the 2012 season, we see Vettel back on the front row – and on pole – with Hamilton alongside and Webber and Button behind in Bahrain. So it’s reasonable to expect a return to the sort of result in Bahrain we’re used to in F1.
