The new tech - including gesture control, next-gen voice control and intelligent windscreens - was shown at an event in Whiteley, where Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) also announced details of its new four-cylinder engines. So what should we expect from Jags and Landies of the future? Gesture control is the next big thing for Land Rovers and Jaguars say its engineers.
2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra recalled
Wed, 09 Oct 2013General Motors is recalling nearly 22,000 units of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra full-size pickups because the seats may move in a rear-end crash. The recall affects 21,721 Silverados and Sierra Series 1500 vehicles; 18,972 in the United States, 2,575 in Canada, 103 in Mexico and 71 exports. These vehicles have manual front reclining seatbacks that may fail to meet a federal safety requirement for performance when struck from behind.

And Lamborghini are wasting no time whetting appetites for the Gallardo, with a new website launched to tease its replacement, complete with a ‘start’ button to hear the new V10 roar and instructions to “Listen to your instinct – Discover the roar of the new creature from Lamborghini”. That replacement is probably going to be called the Lamborghini Cabrera, which we’ve been expecting to debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
