Skoda Fabia Estate (2007): first official pictures
Tue, 14 Aug 2007By Chris Chilton First Official Pictures 14 August 2007 03:56 Supermini estates are a bit of an oddity - most people looking for a roomy car want extra space in the cabin too. Based on the new Fabia hatch we drove earlier this year, the new estate is just 7mm longer but 46mm loftier than the old estate.
Art installation moves 100,000 toy cars an hour
Tue, 04 Mar 2014IT'S NO PICASSO, but this installation by conceptual artist Chris Burden certainly has the potential to be moving. Called Metropolis II, this amazing construction took Chris and his chief engineer four years to design and create and expands significantly on Metropolis I - the latest version has 18 roadways including one six-lane carriageway. It also has a rail network with HO-scale model trains, and running at capacity it pumps 100,000 cars around its network at a scale speed of 230mph.
Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer (2009): first pictures
Thu, 14 Aug 2008By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 14 August 2008 11:06 These are the first pictures of Vauxhall’s third Insignia model, the estate. The Sports Tourer will debut at this autumn's Paris motor show and come with a choice of seven engines and the option of front- or four-wheel drive.
