Hyundai Veloster Turbo R planned?
Tue, 31 Jul 2012The rumours are growing that Hyundai isĀ preparingĀ a Veloster Turbo R with more power than the regular Veloster turbo. We still haven’t seen the Hyundai Veloster Turbo arrive in the UK (although it’s not far off) yet the rumours are already growing that Hyundai are preparing a more powerful Turbo ‘R’ version. Motor Authority have been chatting with Hyundai in the US who seem to be saying there’s room for the Veloster Turbo to get more powerful and more dynamic.

Mon, 01 Jun 2009BMW has released teaser images of the new BMW X1 compact SUV BMW’s offering in this department is the new BMW X1 which is, in many ways, a 1-Series on stilts, although it has components in common with both the 1-Series and the 3-Series. It will be available in both 2WD and 4WD with engines ranging from a 1.8 litre 4-pot petrol to a 3.0 litre turbo-diesel with a 6-sped manual ‘box or an auto option. These relatively undisguised photos from BMW are the first official shots that have no real subterfuge in them, and show the lines of the car pretty clearly.
Councils to cut roadworks red tape
Tue, 19 Aug 2014COUNCILS in England could soon have the power to cut red tape and make road works much quicker and more accountable. The plan is to introduce permits for any company that wants to dig up a road, which means they will have to co-ordinate their work with other companies and local authorities to reduce the impact of delays on the public. The permit scheme could come into force as early as April 2015 and means anyone applying for a permit to carry out road works will need to present a convincing case for the work.
