This is a 10 gph Deluxe Watermaker/Desalination Unit consisting of a Wanner pump 115 volt TEFC Motor, Prewired Control Panel, Membrane and membrane vessel, 12 volt Bronze Booster Pump, Backwash Manifold, Handheld TDS Tester, 25 and 5 micron filter housings, 3 each of the 25 and 5 micron filter cartridges, 15' of High Pressure hose with field installable fittings, and Installation and Operation Instructions. The system can be powered by a 2000 watt generator. 115 volt AC booster pump is available for an additional $100.00.                                                                                     

Royal College of Art and SABIC collaborate on new ‘VISIcON’ program and design competition

The Royal of Art and chemicals manufacturer SABIC has announced the launch of a three-month research program and competition called 'VISIcON'. Over 30 post-graduate students from the college's Vehicle Design program are studying and analyzing how SABIC's thermoplastic lighting materials and LEXAN polycarbonate (PC) glazing technologies can be used practically and creatively to improve the lighting and illumination of future vehicles. VISIcON asks students from the RCA's automotive students split into three groups: the Automark group's emphasis on developing and enhancing brand identity through lighting; Urban Flow's focus directed towards discovering innovative exterior lighting; and Inside Out studio is working on improving and extending the use of light in the vehicle interior through lighting components and PC glazing.

Local Motors announces winners of Terra Prix 2085 design competition

Local Motors has announced the 10 winners of its Terra Prix 2085 Concept Design competition. The competition brief asked entrants to design a two-person race vehicle that could navigate every terrain imaginable on every continent, as well as a support craft for any maintenance needed throughout the race. The support craft had to be able to carry tools, extra parts, any potential module changes for different terrain as well as enough 'fuel' for both vehicles to move between three major checkpoints.
