This is an antique box of 10 LUTHY spark plugs.  They are part number 10-8 and I was told by the man who sold them to me that they were correct for a 6 cylinder Chevrolet.   These are very old spark plugs at least from the early 1950s if not older.   They are in great shape with just very minor rust spots on some plugs.  They are still wrapped in the original protective wrapper in the original boxes.  I picked these up at a swap meet because I thought that they were really cool.  They were made in Michigan.  I'm cleaning out the garage so they gotta go to a new home.   Bid with confidence and good luck!

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 13 August 2009 14:30 This is BMW’s new ActiveHybrid 7, a hybrid limo which will compete with the Mercedes S400 Hybrid and Lexus LS600h as the car of choice for the rich but eco-conscious businessman. Not quite. Both car use the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, but the hybrid X6 is more performance biased.

US Grand Prix (2013): Vettel steals pole from Webber Sebastian Vettel may already have wrapped up the drivers title, but that hasn’t taken away his motivation to win. Despite what looked like an unbeatable time by Mark Webber, Vettel managed to turn a lap that didn’t look like it had the legs in the first half in to a second half that pipped Webber to pole. Another Red Bull front row.

Porsche Macan will sell 75,000 a year

Tue, 11 Sep 2012

The Porsche Macan – Porsche’s more compact SUV, based on the Audi Q5 – looks set to sell at a rate of 75,000 cars a year. The new Porsche Macan - the Porsche Cajun as was -  already looked set to take Porsche sales to another level with projected sales of 45,000 a year from 2013, but it looks like that ambitious target is going to be exceeded. German weekly WirtschaftsWoche is reporting that Porsche’s procurement boss, Uwe-Karsten Staedter, has put Porsche suppliers on notice that they are expecting to sell 75,000 Macans a year by the end of 2013 – an increase of 2/3rds on the original sales predictions.
