Here's what the 2014 Volvo V60 wagon will cost

The Volvo V60 has been a moderate hit in Europe, and this month it's finally set to go on sale in the U.S. The five-door station wagon will offer one engine from the automaker's new Drive-E family of powerplants, gasoline engines that will use turbocharging and direction injection, in a package slightly smaller than the existing XC70 station wagon. All-wheel drive and front-wheel drive will both be on the menu, with the the base version of the V60 T5 front-wheel drive station wagon starting at $36,215.

The next Mercedes-Benz SL coupes will get more power, less weight and a few neat tricks, including features named Magic Vision Control and FrontBass. We'll get our first look at the new car at the Detroit auto show in January. Mercedes Bristol hands over the 100,000th Mercedes old in the UK in 2013 It looks like Mercedes move in to a more convincing compact car with the new A-Class is already paying dividends, with Mercedes announcing it has already broken the 100,000 car sales in the UK for this year with a full month still to go. The 100,000th car is, appropriately, a white Mercedes  A 180 CDI Sport – perhaps the best-selling A-Class – which has been collected by its new owner from Mercedes-Benz of Bristol. This is the first full year the new A-Class has been on sale (although the first customer cars didn’t start arriving until well in to the new year) and augers well for sales numbers in 2014.
