WE HAVE MADE THESE  ANGLE ADAPTERS FOR OVER TEN YEARS. THESE ARE THE ORIGINAL ANGLE ADAPTERS NOT COPIES.   You need this adapter if purchased a straight O2 Extender / Spacer and do not have the room to install it.  This will allow you to install your Extender / Spacer at most any angle that you want. You just install this adapter, turn it the way you want it, lock it in place with the supplied locking nut, and install your straight spacer into it. You need the straight spacer also. A short one will do fine.  18 X 1.5 MM male / female thread.                         Easy to install and much more reliable than an electrical or electronical device.  You do not need to solder this, just lock it down with the provided lock nut. No wires to splice.    Check our other listings for many other weld bungs, STAINLESS STEEL  and  MILD STEEL. With and without shoulders.              <<<<<<<      ELECTROPLATED TO RESIST RUST     >>>>>>>>.>

Volkswagen Makes Virtual Roadster Real

Fri, 30 May 2014

GERMAN car maker Volkswagen has turned the virtual world into reality, as it unveiled its GTI Roadster concept at the famous Woerthersee GTI meeting in Austria recently. The GTI Roadster was originally created as a purely electronic car, to feature in the Sony PlayStation 3 classic, Gran Turismo 6. The result of cooperation between Volkswagen and Sony, the GTI Roadster is the work of three young Volkswagen designers, winners of an in-house competition to design a vehicle to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo game.

Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV (PHEV): Details ahead of Paris debut

Fri, 07 Sep 2012

Mitsubishi has revealed more details on the plug-in hybrid electric Outlander ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show. Mitsubishi has been threatening a hybrid version of the Outlander for a few years (we had the  PX-MiEV at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009 and the PX-MiEV II at last year’s Tokyo Show), but the real production deal – the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV – arrives at Paris. Now, with a public debut imminent, and full production and deliveries planned for 2013, Mitsubishi has revealed more details of their plug-in hybrid as they try to make their reputation for tough off-roaders and bonkers performance cars a bit more fluffy-bunny.

New Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive goes in to production

Sat, 12 Apr 2014

The first Mercedes B-Class ED (pictured) rolls off the production line in Rastatt With the BMW i3 grabbing headlines – and flying out of showrooms – as BMW’s first electric car, Mercedes need to play catch-up with a convincing EV of their own, and that’s the new B-Class Electric Drive – an EV version of the regular B-Class – which has now gone in to production in Germany. Built alongside regular ICE versions of the B-Class at Mercedes’ Rastatt Plant, the B-Class ED (Electric Drive) looks practically the same as its more conventionally powered siblings – although the front bumper does look a bit different – and has an electric motor good for 177 bhp and 250 lb/ft of torque, can manage a scoot to 62 mph in 7.9 seconds and has a range of up to 124 miles. The range – at least the quoted range – is a chunk better than the BMW i3′s and on a par with the latest Nissan LEAF, thanks to EV technology provided by Tesla, and the wrapping of an EV drivetrain in a conventional series production car could appeal to more buyers than the ‘statement’ design of the BMW i3.
