MG Icon SUV heading for Beijing The MG Icon – a compact SUV Crossover – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Beijing Motor Show. Men with beards and pipes will be dismayed at the news that there is going to be an MG SUV, but there is and it’s the MG Icon – which might be setting the bar a but high. Looking like a cross between and MGB GT and a Juke, the MG Icon is expected to share a platform with the MG5 and MG6 and be powered by the 1.5 litre four-pot SAIC used in the Chinese versions of the MG and Roewe.

XCar tests the Jaguar F-Type R coupe in Spain

Host Alex Goy put the new hardtop Jaguar F-Type R coupe through its paces in the latest edition of XCar. Goy says the loud, red Jag was the first car he has been pulled over in during a shoot -- which must mean he’s either more restrained than we’d have guessed or just supremely lucky. Nissan EV moves electric car closer to reality

It's called the Leaf in Japan, and whether or not Nissan's production electric car carries that name in the United States, the company insists that the car will be on the road before the end of 2010. Slightly larger than the familiar Versa subcompact, the zero-emissions Leaf was unveiled Aug. 2 at a dedication ceremony for Nissan's new global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan.
