This listing is for an original equipment owners manual set removed from a 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500SEL. Most of the info is probably the same for the w140 Series 1992-99 (400SEL, 420SEL, 500SEL, 600SEL). Included in this listing is the BLACK carrying case/portfolio, Owners Manual, Maintenance Booklet, Service/Warranty Info, Car Care Guide, cellular phone operation guide, benefits guide, roadside assistance pamphlet, dealer directory, and driving dynamics booklet (a total of TEN pieces included). There are smudges and cosmetic imperfections on all of the items (pages and covers), but they all appear to be complete. You may be able to clean them up a bit, but I dont want to try it myself and ruin them. None of the items are perfect, but they will serve their purpose in your daily driver. And it’s a car that makes a lot of sense, especially in the current market. So it’s not any sort of surprise to see the rumour resurface, but we’re a bit peeved to have missed (until now) the comment that’s being attributed to Lex Kerssemakers – Volvo’s Overseas Corporate Strategy President – from Geneva when he apparently said “There will be some further expansion of the XC range in the near future”.
