XFR Jag the fastest ever
Tue, 13 Jan 2009They took with them the usual holiday toys, but they remembered to pack a nice new Jaguar XFR, with a few mods necessary to run at Bonneville (roll cage, fire extinguishers, etc). They had a little fiddle with the ECU to derestrict it (and yield 600bhp) but, it is claimed, made no further mods apart from adding a spoiler at the back to stop the XFR taking off on the Salt Flats’ wide open spaces. Wed, 15 Aug 2012The first images and details of the fourth-generation Range Rover have been released, with a notable upward shift in size and 'dynamism' for the full-fat RR. The outgoing version brought with it a dramatic increase in size to make way for the smaller Sport and this new one grows to truly 'full-size' dimensions. The increase in length (no official figures have been released) is exaggerated by the canted-back nose, extended wheelbase and rear overhang and tapering roof line.
Bentley SUV confirmed for production
Mon, 23 Jul 2012A Bentley worker has told the Sentinel that the Bentley EXP 9 F – the Bentley SUV – is confirmed for production. It obviously didn’t seem like a big deal to the reporter at Staffordshire’s Sentinel newspaper when a Bentley employee told them that the Bentley SUV was going in to production and would guarantee employment for the next 14 years. But it is a big deal.
