Peugeot are increasing production of the 2008 compact SUV (pictured) to meet demand We have a bit of a soft spot for a number of Peugeots, and we were convinced that the 2008 compact SUV would be a winner for PSA. And it seems it is. VW recalls 2014 vehicles for oil-cooler issue

Volkswagen notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently of an issue affecting the automatic transmission oil cooler in certain 2014 models. The recall has affected 26,452 vehicles overall, including the 2014 model year Passat, Jetta, Beetle and Beetle convertible, made between Feb. 1, 2014 and April 6, 2014.

Extra funding came in thanks to the involvement of Investindustrial’s new stake in Aston Martin, and a deal has been done with Mercedes AMG to supply new V8 engines and electronic architecture. Not only that, but Aston Martin are developing a new platform for their future range of cars, with the biggest investment in Aston Martin’s history.
