Hyundai i10 revealed

Two months ago actually, but the new Hyundai i10 city car makes its official show debut at Bologna, and CAR was given access to the car the night before the show so we could have a proper poke round it. Hyundai officials also let slip that the Genesis saloon will be shown at the start of 2008 in Detroit, while the production Coupe will be previewed at the New York Motor Show in March 2008.

But now the 5 Series facelift is here, and what it lacks in real changes BMW has made up for in photos – they’ve sent us over 200 photos of the new 5 Series – Saloon, Touring and GT – maybe in the hope that a mass of photos will make us think the changes are extensive. Online database 'may cut car insurance premiums'

MOTORISTS could see insurance premiums cut by up to £15 a year after the Government announced that all driving licence records are being put online. The searchable database for individuals and companies to check speeding endorsements and other details could also bring down the cost of car hire. The My Licence project is the latest part of the coalition's digital agenda, which has been gradually moving services on to the internet.
