Sebastian Vettel takes delivery of his eponymous Infiniti FX Vettel Edition
Tue, 02 Jul 2013Sebastian Vettel `(pictured) takes delivery of his Infiniti FX Vettel Edition The Infiniti FX50 is Infiniti’s take on the Porsche Cayenne, so we suppose the FX Vettel Edition, with extra power and titivations, should be compared to the Cayenne GTS. But unlike the Cayenne GTS, the Infiniti FX Vettel Edition is a very limited edition car – just 200 are being built – and costs an eye-watering amount of money – £100,000. For your £100k you get an Infiniti FX50 that’s had a raft of titivations to let Vettel reach a higher top speed on his regular joints up the Autobahn in Germany, as well as cosmetic additions to justify the price.
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder unveiled at LA Auto Show
Wed, 19 Nov 2008By Ben Pulman Motor Shows 19 November 2008 23:00 This is the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder, unveiled today in Los Angeles as part of the company’s promise to reveal one new model at every major motor show. Suddenly that Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M has a homegrown rival, and we're left wondering if the Scud is really so tempting after all… Spot on. And that means it mixes a mouth-watering prospect of a 5.2-litre V10, four-wheel drive and one of the best exhaust notes around – now aided by the removal of the roof.
Fiat Panda Aria and Grande Punto Abarth SS concepts
Mon, 17 Sep 2007By Guy Bird Motor Shows 17 September 2007 02:50 Aria goes green, Abarth gets sporty, 500 goes large… Fiat’s signature white stand featured both ends of the car spectrum: From the eco Panda Aria concept to a new even sportier version of the Grande Punto, the Abarth SS prototype. It arguably had the best show stand gimmick at Frankfurt too – a giant Fiat 500 model the size of a two-storey building housing a monorail on which punters could ride life-size 500 cars around its innards – entered through the giant 500’s wheel arch. Anyway… what about this eco Panda thingy… Oh yes, the Fiat Aria ‘concept’ is subtle like that.
