This Slipstreamer "Classic" series touring windshield is one of the best on the market for providing full wind, bug and debris protection. All of it's mounting hardware is made of chrome plated steel. The hardware is adjustable which allows the rake/angle of this shield to vary anywhere in-between straight up to as far back as the angle of the fork tubes. This shield is constructed of Dupont® engineered Lucite® acrylic which is a high quality windshield material. Lucite is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market and it is one of the most optically clear materials available as well. Lucite is more optically clear than hard-coated Lexan® windshields are. Lucite resists yellowing far better than most of the other windshield materials available. Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hard-coating. Hard-coated shields deteriorate rather quickly in comparison to Lucite which makes a Lucite shield a much wiser long term investment. Slipstreamer Inc., based in Blaine, MN, pioneered the acrylic motorcycle windshield industry. They have been producing quality motorcycle windshields since 1973.
Light Bars or Passing Lamps as they are sometimes called can sometimes lead to complications when installing a fork mounted windshield in conjunction with it. We find this windshield to be compatible with most Show Chrome™ and National Cycle® brand light bars. We find when installing these onto bikes with light bars that are made by Cobra®, you will likely need a Cobra light bar relocation kit. There are many light bars on the market that we are not familiar with so you will need to consult the manufacturer of your light bar for compatibility information with fork mounted windshields such as this Slipstreamer SS30.

It's called the GT1, and CAR has been given the lowdown on this new supercar. The car you see here is a 25% scale model of the De Macross GT1, which is being developed in conjunction with component manufacturer Multimatic.

The Nissan LEAF is trumpeted as Nissan’s Zero Emissions Electric Car. The LEAF will go on sale in Japan, America and Europe in late 2010, and as we already knoew, Nissan is working on battery production and charging infrastructure in the UK, Portugal and other countries.
Volkswagen New Midsize Coupe debuts at China motor show
Sat, 19 Apr 2014The Volkswagen NMC (New Midsize Coupe) concept makes official the German carmaker's plans for a style-led sedan to challenge the likes of the strong selling Mercedes-Benz CLA. Unveiled at the Beijing motor show, the new four-door closely previews a future Jetta-based model that will slot into the Volkswagen lineup beneath the existing Passat CC, most likely in 2016. Volkswagen design boss Klaus Bischoff describes the NMC as “avant-garde protagonist for a new compact sedan class.” Looking all but ready for production, it continues the current Volkswagen design lineage, with crisp features and lines, heavily horizontal detailing, and taut surfacing -- all aimed at providing it with a technical-inspired appearance.
