  • International Shipping Available - Keep in mind that overseas shipments take up to 6 weeks to arrive (sometimes less.) There is no reliable live tracking of USPS shipments.  We appreciate your patience as we have no control over this. It all depends on how quickly the postal service and customs take to do their thing. Express Mail is the only international shipping that has live tracking and is faster.
  • US Buyers: Choose Expedited Shipping upon checkout for the quickest handling and shipping we offer. I do not recommend Economy shipping if you need this within 10 business days.

Don't think you need one of these? Notice the first photo of an example of my own mag drain plug that was used for only 10 hours after a fresh topend job on my own bike.  Look at all of the metal debis on the tip!  Over 1/8" (6mm) of debris collected!  This was not staged.  It was removed from my own bike after a fresh rebuild. Happens every oil change.  Imagine what is circulating inside your motor! I just cleaned mine off with some contact cleaner and a rag before reinstalling. ACKKKK!

US Buyers: REGARDING DOMESTIC SHIPPING/ HANDLING - Our "Free" Economy Shipping usually takes 4-10 BUSINESS DAYS to arrive. If you need faster service, we highly recommend you select Expedited Shipping upon checkout. Your Order will move straight to the front of the line as far as handling time and shipping service. Otherwise, your order will be "in line" with all of our other Economy Shipping orders, and those take time to process. Also, there is no accurate "live tracking" of Economy Shipments (some do, some don't). That sort of thing costs more. In order for us to be competitive in price, we have to use the "least expensive" shipping service possible.

If you have a specific deadline, please select the appropriate shipping service, and then email us, (or enter this info in the Comments of your payment). We will do our best to meet your special needs.

STANDARD INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Can take up to 6 weeks to arrive (or less). Choose Express Mail International for much faster handling and shipping service.

Please read all checkout info and correspondence relating to your eBay purchase. This will help clarify shipping and handling guidelines - as well as handling returns / refunds.

Just making sure everyone understands this in advance. Thanks for your understanding.

We have to answer this question far too often, so:

No, we do not have a brick & mortar store you can come to. It costs far too much to do that. This is why there are so few b&m stores left. NO PROFIT IN IT! Online shopping is where it's at.  We ship only. It is much simpler and easier for us all.

This is shown in the FAQ section of all of our ads as well.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Regarding our Return/Refund Policy:

We accept all returns, AND--

We happily pay return shipping if WE were at fault:

  • Item broke (but was not misused)
  • Was blatantly misrepresented
  • Specs of item were not what ad stated
  • Fitment was clearly incorrect vs what ad stated

You pay return shipping if YOU were at fault:

  • Misused the item
  • Damaged the item due to lack of proper use
  • Or you merely HOPED the item would fit your application, but you weren't really certain if it would (called the Guinea Pig Rule)
  • Or you just don't want the item for some random reason
  • There is nothing abnormal about this policy. We stand behind everything we sell on here.  But we are not some humongous store who can afford to pay thousands of dollars per year in return shipping if we were not at fault.

We should not have to have all of these "disclaimers", but there are a few buyers who try to "work the system" to either get something for free, do not read ads thoroughly, or want to get free return shipping (and they were at fault). We have seen it all on here. Our ads are insanely detailed FOR YOUR BENEFIT.  If you do not agree with this policy, please do not buy. There are plenty of other sellers who will be glad to have your business.  Honesty is always the best policy.

=================================

Let's just clutter our page a bit more with yet ANOTHER Disclaimer regarding shipping & handling:

If you are really desperate for any eBay item (especially ours,) we highly recommend you select (and pay for) our Expedited Shipping. You will see this option upon checkout. This assures you the quickest handling and shipping service we offer.

Expedited Orders placed Monday-Friday (other than Holidays) before 3:00pm Eastern Time go out the SAME DAY (and typically take 3-5 business days - or less - to arrive depending on where you are in the continental US.) Whereas Economy (aka SLOW/FREE) orders will wait in line with all the other schmucks and take 36-48 hours to go out depending on our backlog - and can take 4-10 business days to arrive (thank goodness we have quite a large stack of orders at all times.)

This is why we offer the faster shipping methods - for YOUR benefit - if you are in a jam.

We are not going to jump your Economy Order over all the others that we have ahead of yours - because that is just unfair to them. We are very fair people here. So, pay the few extra dollars, get your order out QUICK - and save your life.

We offer this for your benefit. Why not take advantage of it??? The order will arrive before eBay "estimates," regardless. If your a** is on the line - save your life - and take advantage of what we offer.

Someone told me this once: "Fast ain't free - and free ain't fast..."  (Remember that)

Call to cut school run car journeys

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

A 10% CUT in school run car journeys would boost Britain's economy by around £46 million a year, a sustainable transport charity has claimed. Sustrans, which is calling on the Government to formally recognise the right of every child to be able to walk or cycle to school safely, estimates that ferrying children to school by car accounts for 24% of peak time traffic. Using Department for Transport modelling to calculate the financial drain on business caused by rush-hour congestion, Sustrans estimated that a 14% reduction in car use for school runs would take 167,000 vehicles off the road with an annual "saving" of £66.2 million.

One Lap of the Web: Ugly cars, ugly accidents, and a Motocompo for sale

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

-- Do you like ugly cars? Of course you do, that's why you come here to read about Ladas and the Sir Vival. Mystery Blogspotter AutoFug tears down ugly cars from concepts to Ferraris to mostly Hondas, as of recent -- even Pininfarina and its supposed plagiarism doesn't go without notice.
