This set of pistons are in excellant condition and show little wear.

This is a set of eight forged trw popup pistons. They are .060 over for the 400 pontiac engine  with wrist pins and no locks. and are in excellant shape. I think these were rated 12-1 compression. The dome is about 1/4 " high. All the ring grooves are cleaned and in great ready to build shape. The skirts show very little wear if any.  These are as close to new as you will get on a used set.

The first official photos of the 2011 Mercedes CLS leak out The Paris Motor Show beckons, and we are thankfully going to have far more going on in the world of cars than we have for the last month or so. And today’s leak of the 2011 Mercedes CLS in all its production ready glory – well, it’s Photoshop enhanced production ready glory, anyway – is doubtless the first of the Paris leaks to come over the next month or so. Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the replacement for the Mercedes CLS.

Hyundai i10 revealed

Two months ago actually, but the new Hyundai i10 city car makes its official show debut at Bologna, and CAR was given access to the car the night before the show so we could have a proper poke round it. Hyundai officials also let slip that the Genesis saloon will be shown at the start of 2008 in Detroit, while the production Coupe will be previewed at the New York Motor Show in March 2008.

De Tomaso to get €100 million from India De Tomaso hasn’t had the most solvent history in the motoring world, and had been dormant until ex-Fiat man Gian Mario Rossignolo rescued the name – and some of the assets – from the liquidators. And he had big plans. The first of those plans was the underwhelming De Tomaso Deauville, a car which borrowed its name from a previous XJ-like saloon car from De Tomaso, but looked like the bastard child of a Porsche Cayenne and a 5-Series GT.
