SEMA 2008 show report: Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Using SEMA as a platform was the latest step in the Genesis PR push, as Hyundai builds up to the Coupe's US launch next year. Porsche is making it possible for owners of older cars to add some modern- or classic-looking equipment. The classic look comes from the availability of 19-inch wheels styled to replicate the look of the Fuchs rims used on the 911 Sport Classic in 1966. The wheel's five spokes are painted black with a silver look to the outer rim and the Porsche logo in color on the wheel hub.

HISTORY has been made on the BMW stand at the Geneva Motor Show as it has revealed the production version of its first front-wheel-drive car. The 2 Series Active Tourer is a compact MPV, also a new segment for the firm, and under the distinctive exterior it uses the same chassis and clever three-cylinder engine as seen in the new Mini. In doing so it becomes the first production BMW to send drive to the front wheels alone.
