This fuel gauge was in the '67 Microbus I just bought and is the original one. The build date on my bus was 9/66 and the date on the back of this gauge is 8/66. It's the only year for the 12v split window bus, so these things are almost impossible to find. It wasn't working...no idea why. The dusty looking face is from some rust that was in the bottom of the face that got shaken up when I removed it...it will be MUCH clearer looking when cleaned. My bus is simply a driver, so originality didn't mean much to me. I replaced it with a common 6V as I didn't want to spend the $275-350 prices I've seen for nice, working 12V ones. Anyway...didn't want to see this guy wind up in a landfill so it can be yours cheap to rebuild...use for parts, etc. Check out my feedback. Almost 650 and 100% positive...nobody disappointed in over a decade. Read the comments and bid with confidence.
