RAC to carry universal spare wheel

The RAC believes call outs to cars with punctures but no spare wheel will reach 250,000 a year by 2015, so has decided to roll out its own universal spare wheel as a hassle-reducing solution. The universal spare wheel, which has already been successfully trialled, should become standard equipment for all RAC breakdown patrols by early February 2014. Audi A8 facelift revealed ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show 2013

Audi is pulling weight out of its A8 limousine and sticking in more power in an effort to stem the expected upsurge from Mercedes-Benz’s all-new S-Class, also being unveiled for the first time at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The all-wheel drive Audi, which is the top-of-the-range Audi limo, may only change a little visually but delivers big upgrades in its driver assistance systems, as well as tightening its fuel consumption by up to 10%. 2013 Mercedes E-Class Coupe & Convertible Facelift revealed

Mercedes has revealed the facelift for the 2013 E Class Convertible and Coupe – adding to the Saloon and Estate updates we saw in December. The changes to the E-Class Coupe and Convertible are similar to those on the estate and saloon, with new single headlights instead of the E-Class’s familiar double headlights (although the LED running lights up the middle of the headlight conspire to make it look like it still has twin lights), new bumpers and LED tail lights. But the E-Class Coupe and Convertible don’t the sheet metal changes the saloon an d estate get, so the Coupe and Convertible retain the pontoon rear haunches to set them apart from the four-door E-Class models.
