Features of the 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V 20A for Lithium Battery Packs Solar Charge Controller:

  • Advanced double-peak or multiple-peak tracking technology.

  • Built-in algorithm for maximum power tracking to raise energy utilization efficiency of photovoltaic systems.

  • Charging efficiency 15%-20% higher than traditional PWM solar charge controllers.

  • Combination of multiple tracking algorithms that can track the optimum working point of I-V curve accurately in a very short period of time.

  • MPPT efficiency can be as high as 99.9%

  • Advanced digital power technology, with circuit energy conversion efficiency as high as 98%.

  • Current-limiting charging mode. When the power of a solar panel is too large, and the charging current is greater than rated current, the solar charge controller automatically reduces charging power, thereby making the solar panel work at rated charging current.

  • Automatic identification of battery voltage.

  • LED indicator, buzzer alarm, and liquid crystal display to help users identify system failures.

  • Supports data storage for up to five years.

  • LCD screen display to enable users to view equipment operation data and status and modify controller parameters at the same time.

  • Standard Modbus protocol that meets communication needs on different occasions.

  • Parallel operation supported by certain parts of the solar charge controller.

  • Built-in mechanism for over-temperature protection. When the temperature exceeds the preset value, the charging current falls linearly with temperature, therefore slowing down the rise of controller temperature and avoiding controller damage from high temperatures.

  • External battery voltage sampling function to prevent line loss from affecting external battery voltage sampling and to ensure greater preciseness of control parameters.

  • Temperature compensation functions to automatically adjust charging and discharging parameters to extend battery service life.

  • Many protection functions.

  • TVS lightning protection.

Kia at Geneva Motor Show: Kia Sportage (2010)

Tue, 02 Mar 2010

Kia has revealed the 2010 Sportage at Geneva As with many of the reveals we’re getting at Geneva, we’ve already told you to expect the car in previous reports. We reported a month ago that Kia’s version of the Hyundai ix35 – the Kia Sportage – would bow in at Geneva, but we had precious little detail beyond a couple of photos. Well, Kia have made up for that with one of the longest press releases in a while on the new Sportage.

Young drivers at risk from poor tyre care

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

YOUNG DRIVERS are putting their lives at risk by not looking after their cars’ tyres. A survey by Tyresafe and insurer Ingenie has found that more than a third of young drivers aged 18-25-years old had never checked their tyres for tread depth and a quarter had not checked the tyres on their car for correct pressure ever. The survey found that better education is needed to tell young drivers of the important of looking after the tyres on their car.

Honda & GM to work together on next generation Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

GM’s history with hydrogen fuel cell development Hydrogen Fuel Cells are, in many ways, the answer to our dependency on oil. But any future that uses hydrogen fuel cells to power an electric motor in a car means that not only must the fuel cells be more economical to produce than they now are, but that a refuelling infrastructure is developed. To help achieve that end, Honda and GM have announced that they are to collaborate on developing not just the next generation fuel cells for vehicles but to advance a refuelling structure too.
