Fiat are said to be bringing the 500 Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari to Frankfurt Update 12/9/09: Fiat has now confirmed that the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari is real and will be at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Edelbrock teams with Ohio Technical College to teach hot-rodders

Many of today's prominent hot-rodders and car customizers talk about how they learned their craft working alongside a mentor, turning wrenches in a garage for hours on end. Now, there's a school for that. Noted tuning-parts maker Edelbrock LLC has teamed up with Ohio Technical College in Cleveland to create the Edelbrock Academy.

Mercedes B55 (2011) - a ballistic V8 B-class

Mercedes' tuning arm AMG has not yet ventured into sensible B-class territory, but a bunch of Merc trainees in Germany has come up with this: the B55. It's a V8-powered B-class, complete with AMG-spec 383bhp 5.5-litre V8 mounted up front and driving an old W210 E-class rear axle. Sounds like a promising skunkworks special, derived from an old B200 CDI hack that was kicking about the training centre.
