Design Contest: LA Auto Show previews 2006 Design Challenge

Dec 2, 2005 - The Los Angeles Auto Show has revealed entries for the second annual Design Challenge, part of the 'Design Los Angeles' automobile designers conference. Now in its second year, the conference bridges designers interests by providing workshops, leading design speakers and the opportunity to address common issues. More than 400 designers attended last year's inaugural event.

Pruett Vineyard releases wine celebrating the Rolex 24 at Daytona anniversary

Race-car driver Scott Pruett is a master in the vineyard as well as at the track, and his Pruett Vineyard has released four new vintages this fall in time for the gift-giving seasons. The recent releases include a 2008 Pruett Napa Cab, a 2010 Pruett Grenache, a 2009 Lucky Lauren Red and a 2009 Pruett Estate Syrah--which tastes of purple fruits with traces of ginger and black pepper--that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Bentley EXP 9 F (2012) new pictures

Bentley has today released a new series of pictures of the EXP 9 F concept car, designed to reflect the car's all-terrain ability and 'Bentley’s intent to build the fastest and most luxurious SUV in the world.' With a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine good for 592bhp and 590lb ft, you'd expect the Bentley 4x4 to be no slouch. But the big question remains: is the EXP 9 F's styling growing on the naysayers?
