All hatches currently sold on the market are fabricated with plastic hinges integrated in the hatch’s frame. This means that if the hatch cover needed replacement it would be necessary to dismount the entire boat frame, a strenuous if not impossible task due to the fact that the frame is glued to the boat with particularly strong adhesives. With our patented system, the cover of the hatch can be dismounted and replaced simply by removing 3 screws, even if only for purely aesthetic reasons. Another revolutionary system allows for the cover to be completely removed from its housing/frame at an opening angle that spans between 5° and 75°. This solution is particularly appealing to manufacturers and end users of boats that have the driving/steering console very close to the driver’s seat. With this configuration it can be troublesome to open the hatch during navigation since the driver himself is obstructing the hatch door opening. Thu, 06 Jan 2011Ferrari 612 Shooting Brake Spy shot Last week we ran a story about the replacement for Ferrari’s four-seat supercar, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. The basic premise was that Ferrari would be bringing the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti to the Geneva Motor Show in March, and that it would feature a new, 650bhp V12 engine, and 4×4 platform and be a Shooting Brake. All of which was a cobbling together from bits of information we’ve received when we started to dig around for information after Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo recently said there will be a “very different Ferrari” at Geneva.
Mercedes Concept Style Coupe (2012) - aka CLA

It's a thinly veiled look at a compact coupe spun off the Merc A-class architecture - likely to wear the CLA badge. Fri, 13 May 2011Classic Porsche 550s will take on 550As, 356 GTs and RSKs at the fourth Rennsport Reunion on Oct. 14-16 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, Calif.--and that's just one class of Porsches. The reunion of Porsches and their famous drivers moves to the West Coast this year after two previous meetings at Daytona International Speedway and one at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.
