Nissan GT-R beats the Germans - again!
Thu, 22 Jan 2009By Gareth Evans Motoring Issues 22 January 2009 13:23 Prospective buyers of the Nissan GTR have another reason to brag over their German competitors thanks to the latest residual value figures released by CAP Monitor. After 12 months or 10,000 miles, independent used car valuation data provider CAP Monitor predicts the new GTR will be worth 84% of its new list price. This puts the latest Godzilla incarnation well ahead of rivals from Porsche, Audi and BMW.
2011 Chrysler 300C: Official
Tue, 21 Dec 20102011 Chrysler 300C - launches at the 2011 Detroit Motor Show The Chrysler 300C may not be the biggest seller in the UK – although it is loved by chauffeur companies looking for a cheap ‘Limo’ – but it is still a common enough occurrence on British roads for news of a 2011 Chrysler 300C to be of interest to UK as well as US readers. The facelift for the 2011 300C is not the most comprehensive ever seen, but the exterior does get a bit of a workover with a new grille, LEDs and a more rakish windscreen which makes the 300C look a bit less like a ‘box on a box’ in profile. Oh, and Chrysler has stuffed lumps of extra chrome wherever it can, although we doubt if they will make the Euro version.
Rolls Royce Ghost spotted at Dover
Sun, 17 May 2009A virtually uncamouflaged Rolls Royce Ghost caught waiting for a ferry at Dover We’ve seen the Rolls Royce Ghost (formerly known as the RR4 or EX200) out testing in various states of camouflage over the last few months. Finally, at the Geneva Motor Show, we got a proper look at the Ghost, and then, in April, Rolls Royce decided to tell us what we already knew back in February, that it was to be known as the Rolls Royce Ghost, to make a brace of ethereal model names for Rolls Royce, along with the Phantom. So with Rolls Royce seemingly on target to launch the Rolls Royce Ghost as a production-ready car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, they are busy testing the Ghost in Europe, and our snappers caught this virtually uncamouflaged Ghost patiently waiting to catch a ferry at Dover to sail to Calais.
