Who's Where: Amko Leenarts appointed Ford's Director of Global Interiors Design Strategy

Amko Leenarts has been appointed Director of Global Interiors Design Strategy at Ford Motor Company, effective from 1 June 2012. Leenarts will be tasked with developing the future interior design strategy for both the Ford and Lincoln brands worldwide, working alongside the company's global leadership team and reporting directly to J Mays, Group Vice President of Global Design and Chief Creative Officer at Ford Motor Company. He will be based in the company's Merkenich studio in Germany.

Saab offers free iPad with pre-order of the 9-4X

Beginning in mid-January, the first 500 people to place an order for the Saab 9-4X can also receive an Apple iPad--they just have to put down $500 on top of their dealer's pre-order deposit. Rare Ferrari sells for staggering £10 million

A RARE FERRARI representing a key early stage in the history of the sports car manufacturer has sold at auction for £10.7 million. The sale of the 375-Plus at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, was a world auction record for a Ferrari sports racing car. A spokesman for auction house Bonhams also said it was the third highest price paid for any car sold at auction.
