RIP Massimo Tamburini 1943–2014
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Massimo Tamburini, the renowned motorcycle designer, has died at the age of 70. He passed away on Saturday in his native San Marino from lung cancer. Tamburini's body of work stretches back to 1971 and includes designs for Cagiva, Ducati, MV Agusta and Bimota, which he founded alongside Valerio Bianchi and Giuseppe Morri.

Wed, 14 Nov 2012The Mercedes Energ-G-Force, which will debut at the Los Angeles auto show, could be the shape of Mercedes SUVs to come--if you like it. “If people really like it and reaction is good then yeah, we might have to think of making it happen in reality,” said designer Huey Lee, who was part of the team that penned the Energ-G-Force at Mercedes' Advanced Design Studio in Carlsbad, Calif. Saturn has interested buyers, GM says
Fri, 06 Mar 2009Saturn is attracting interest from a "few" parties that might want to acquire the brand, a General Motors spokesman said Thursday. GM has hired Steve Girsky, formerly senior auto analyst for Morgan Stanley, to help advise on any possible Saturn deals. Saturn spokesman Steve Janisse said, "There is interest from investors in doing a spinoff, and there are other entities interested in just buying it." He said he does not know whether the interested parties are other automakers.
