Redesigned 2013 Nissan Sentra sedan revealed

Nissan has lifted the cover off the redesigned 2013 Sentra sedan—its third product reveal within the past six months. The new Sentra arrives in dealer showrooms this fall. Nissan says the new Sentra is lighter by 150 pounds and more fuel efficient, returning up to 40 mpg highway.

Porsche confirms smaller four-cylinder engines

Porsche has confirmed it will reduce its CO2 emissions by introducing four-cylinder engines in the next Boxster and Cayman models. Lexus wants more hybrids and a better performance image

Lexus plans to introduce hybrid versions of existing vehicles with each full model change, the brand's r&d chief says. Leveraging the electric-gasoline drivetrain technology of Lexus' parent company, Toyota, will be key to differentiating the brand from European rivals, said Kiyotaka Ise, Toyota Motor Corp. managing officer in charge of Lexus development.
