Here is a set of 14" turbine HUBCAPS (IM ASSUMING ) for a Scout 80 two wheel drive. I know some early two wheel drive model 80s had 14" four lug wheels, so I think these fit early 14" two wheel drive Scout 80 models. They look very similar to the 15" wheels, but have slightly twisted turbine spokes, so theres two right and two left hubcaps, all with closed hubs . They are factory marked, right and left. Any ideas on what they fit if not the Scout would be appreciated. I dont have any 14" wheels, just the caps. They have minor defects, are slightly dirty, because they have an oily film on them from being stored. The last two pictures show a 15" next to a 14" and a 14" inside a 15", the auction is for the set of four 14" caps. Im sure these are rare as hens teeth.   PA residents pay 6% sales tax.  Ships to Continental U.S. only.

In snowy conditions, choosing between winter and summer tyres is like choosing between crampons and slippers, but plenty of British winters pass with barely a flake touching the ground. So it’s understandable that most of us are reluctant to fork out for winter tyres.

Mercedes-Benz courts Renault for new Smart model based on Twingo

Mon, 03 Aug 2009

Mercedes-Benz is set to join forces with Renault in a deal aimed at providing its underdeveloped Smart division with a contemporary-engineered front-engine/front-wheel-drive platform as the basis for a frugal new Forfour model. The new Smart, due out in 2013, is planned to sit on a lightly modified version of the Renault Twingo’s underpinnings, complete with a 93.3-inch wheelbase. Speaking about the new car over the weekend, a highly placed Mercedes-Benz official told AutoWeek: “It’s a key component in plans to grow the Smart brand.
