Let me say right away that I know nothing whatever about vintage engine intake or exhaust valves.

What I do know is that I have an old Thompson Products box that originally held eight S950 valves. It now contains fourteen mixed valves comprising the following:

7 off S902  Toledo
1 off V358  SLDDMM
1 off S965  Thompson
5 off RICH 942

Let me say again, the box says "S950" but the fourteen valves are a mixture of types.

MP slams ministerial cars 'waste'

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

MINISTERS have been accused of wastefulness by having their official cars sitting outside Parliament with the engines running. Labour MP Thomas Docherty said he had seen Government cars sitting in New Palace Yard - one of the main thoroughfares in and out of the Palace of Westminster - for more than an hour with their engines turned on. Commons Leader Andrew Lansley said he had not noticed the problem on his frequent visits in and out of the palace.

Winter checks boost Seat owners' festive cheer

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

SEAT DRIVERS can rest assured their cars are ready for winter this year with a cool deal that’s just been announced. Owners can take advantage of a 28-point Winter Safety Check heck at their local Seat dealer, with technicians checking tyres, brakes, all fluid levels and more, with top-ups if needed. The fixed-price £29 offer includes inspections of the cooling system, handbrake linkages, steering and electrics.

Pagani Huayra in Purple with Tricolour Calipers (video)

Sun, 11 Nov 2012

We have video of what looks like a new build Pagani Huayra, still plastic wrapped, in purple with Italian Tricolour brake calipers. That’s because the Pagani Huayra has not, as far as we can tell, managed to get a European Certificate of Conformity or managed to be Federalised for the US, so sales are impossible. But Pagani are still producing a few cars – although they’ve probably built more Zondas in the last two years than Huayras – but it looks like this Huayra – caught on video outside Pagaini’s premises in Modena – is a new build.
