Called Motorama, the annual event was a showcase for concept cars which revealed prospective design and technology directions for all of GM's brands and for cars in general. Each year, one-off creations were designed and built for GM's multiple divisions, from Chevrolet all the way up to Cadillac.

BRP Design Center Inauguration

On September 10th, Canadian powersports specialist BRP inaugurated its new Design & Innovation Centre in Valcourt, Quebec (one hour south-east of Montreal, near the US border). This new 5000 m2 state-of-the-art building will house BRP's design and advanced concept teams working on all its brands and product families: the Can-Am spyders and ATVs, Lynx and Ski Doo snowmobiles, Sea Doo personal watercrafts and speedboats, and related lifestyle and accessories design. The team of 60 individuals includes transportation designers, product designers, graphic designers, engineers, human factors experts, mechanics, CAD technicians, modelers, molders, painters, and management.

By Jonny Smith Motor Shows 25 October 2007 11:50 Green windows - it must be good for the trees… Even by Toyota concept standards the RiN is a little weird. The RiN is definitely one for Sting, as it's focused purely on healthy living and increased comfort. The door was designed to slide open like a Japanese teahouse and the green glass reduces UV and Infrared light.
