"Room for debate" on minimum driving age increase
Tue, 28 Jan 2014MOTORISTS are concerned about the minimum driving age, according to new research. More than a third of drivers (35%) think the minimum age should be raised, with 40% of those people believing the starting point should be 21, according to the study carried out by British Car Auctions (BCA). Four in 10 of all people questioned said they felt that a reduction in the overall accident rate would be a welcome outcome of an adjustment of the legal minimum driving age.
'Fuel thieves' held in flood area

Police stopped the trio at 4am today near the flooded village Muchelney and found drums and an electric pump in their 4x4. The men, aged 51, 35 and 24, are now being held at Yeovil police station.

In fact, Tesla says its sedan does so well in the snow that the rear wheels are the only ones that need any torque. "This car performs outstandingly in winter conditions," said Tesla vp of vehicle engineering Chris Porritt in a video released the day of the Detroit Auto Show.
