Brand new but package and label are in rough shape and the springs themselves have some minor surface rust here and there but mainly on the inner spring piece the outer main springs are super nice with only some light small spots here and there which should rub right off. Auction is for a lot of 15 Brand New In the Package Factory OEM MOPAR 2.2L & 2.5L Valve Springs Part # 4105755 which is equivalent to other superseded part #'s 4323225 & 4201192  and will fit some of the following years, makes and models listed below:

In Chrysler's Parts Catalog listing it says they are 4.24mm in diameter but I am not sure what that means and what they are measuring because that makes no sense to me.  If you need a specific year, make, model and engine looked up let me know do not rely on my application chart.  They measure a little over 66mm tall and about 35.30 to 35.40 in diameter.

FYI:  These are for 4-cylinder engines so it takes 8 to replace them all but I have 15 of them so if I sell 8 I am left with 7 of them and I do not really want that so I would prefer getting rid of all 15 then you can keep some spares for the future and would only have to come up with 1 more if need be.  If you absolutely only want 8 of them I would contemplate selling just 8 of them just send me an offer or shoot me an email.

This part is discontinued through Chrysler so it is no longer available at your local Dodge Dealership. This part is Factory OEM MOPAR which I bought out from a Dodge Dealership: THERE IS NO SUBSTITUE FOR OEM MOPAR QUALITY!

  • Please do your own homework to be sure this part is correct for your vehicle and do not rely on my vehicle application chart as it is to be used as a general reference guide only.  I am selling a part # and you are responsible for knowing what part # you need and if you need me to look up a specific year, make and model let me know.  For 1984 to current models you can send me the last 8 digits of your vin # and I can confirm the part # you need if you don't know the part # your vehicle takes.  Just because I say a part fits 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L does not mean it will fit all 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L Models there are many different factors that can play a part.  More often than not there are several different options for every part and it depends on what your vehicle is equipped with or the options it has.

Part # 4105755.  Other related or superseded part #'s that are equivalent to part # 4105755 = 4323225 & 4201192.

'Barn find' Ferrari 330 GTS set to fetch $2 million

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

There are two things that strike us about so-called 'barn finds'. One - how do you actually 'lose' a car, only to discover it a number of years later? And secondly - how come we never stumble across an old motor when touring the countryside?

Book Review: Cosmic Motors

Tue, 19 Aug 2008

It is the year 8966-B in Galaxion, a distant galaxy where Daniel Simon has spent the past two years creating visions for the Cosmic Motors brand. Beginning with the Camarudo ‘one-person motion device', the former VW designer puts aside gravity to find unique forms for future vehicles, accompanied by excellent narration that develops the CoMo story and describes the techniques he used. All the vehicles in this stellar catalogue have been made into digital models with Autodesk AliasStudio - and the results are simply stunning.
