Yanfeng Visteon to unveil Glide concept car at Car Design Night Beijing
Tue, 17 Apr 2012Yanfeng Visteon is set to reveal its Glide project at Car Design News' Car Design Night in Beijing on 23 April, the evening of the first Beijing auto show press day. The project was developed with fashionable individuals within densely populated Chinese cities in mind, with its approach specifically inspired by Chinese fashion. Yanfeng Visteon, a Tier 1 supplier, describes the vehicle as a response to the question, "What are the unique cultural and design elements to define 'premium' and 'sportiness'?" Sun, 31 Oct 2010Our long-term XJ joins last week's review car - the XF S We moaned about the tease that was the introduction to the new Jaguar XJ, but we dutifully went off to the press launch at the Saatchi Gallery in July 2009 and declared the design a triumph. We looked forward to the promised press cars by Christmas 2009, but they never happened as Jaguar worked to make the new XJ as bullet-proof as a car can be. But by the end of May 2010 the first press cars started to arrive and the first customer cars escaped in to the wild.
Manzoni, Ingenlath and Hildebrand to speak at Auto Design Prague

The event is open to professionals and the wider public, and will include a program of 10 presentations by designers including vice president of Ferrari design, Flavio Manzoni; Volvo design director Thomas Ingenlath; Jaguar's advanced design director, Julian Thompson, and Qoros head of design, Gert Hildebrand.
