1539880 Fuel gauge by Stewart Warner for a 1956 through 1961 Studebaker Hawk models . I bought this one for a spare at a swap meet in the early 1990s, but never used it.  It will fit other cars, especially modified ones. it is the smaller 2-1/4" size. Although the photos show some blemishes, the chrome bezel looks perfect as are the needle and dial. I can't guarantee that it works, I can only tell you it look great.

Of all the mainstream cars we’ve revealed in the last few weeks as the hullabaloo of Geneva ensued, the new Volvo V40 has garnered more readers than any other, which surely augers well for the new V40′s prospects. It’s not just that Volvo seem to have got the whole looks thing right, but they’ve also managed to create a car in the new V40 that just has instant appeal.

While Koenigsegg pulls the wraps off a car with almost 150bhp more than the Veyron Vitesse, all Bugatti can muster is yet another spurious special edition.

Audi A1 – the tease begins + video

Tue, 15 Dec 2009

Audi have started the tease for the A1 We’ve known the Audi A1 has been coming for years. For goodness sakes, we’ve seen two concepts for it and had the head of Audi’s production plant in Belgium saying (wrongly, as it turned out) that production of the Audi A1 would start in October 2009. But that’s not going to stop Audi playing at ‘Tease’, so with production of the A1 now scheduled to start in early 2010 they’ve started to tease the new MINI-competing Audi.
