Williams & Renault back together in F1

Tue, 05 Jul 2011

Williams Renault F1 - Sir Frank Williams and Renaultsport's Bernard Rey For those of us who enjoy F1 (on the whole – although races like Canada rather than Valencia, it as to be said) but are very slightly past the first flush of youth, it’s rather sad to see Williams languishing in the ranks of also-rans on this year’s grid. But this season so far they have amassed just 4 points.

We’ve recently seen a big push for the Korando SX, with Ssangyong pitching it hard against the competition as the cheapest way in to a compact SUV, and at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year we had a concept pointing to the next generation compact SUV from Ssangyong with the convertible Ssangyong XIV-2.

The funky new look remains under wraps for now, but we know the chassis has been equipped with adaptive cruise control (ACC) and a collision mitigation brake system (CMS). The CR-V is equipped with a radar which tracks the distance to the car in front, with two benefits.
