Marcello Gandini was last night the recipient of Car Design News' Lifetime Achievement Award. The legendary designer's career spans over 50 years, in which time he has been responsible for some of the most spectacular and innovative cars. From the Lancia Stratos Zero to the Lamborghini Countach via the Alfa Romeo Carabo and Citroen BX.

Car Design News will be reporting live – via Twitter – from the Vehicle Design MA Degree Show 2010 at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London on the afternoon of Thursday, 24 June (after 13:00 GMT).  The CDN team will be attending the show and interviewing the RCA's student designers, researchers, tutors, alumni, automotive experts and other professionals in attendance from the design community. Lexus LF-Lc Concept - now it's official (click photo for full size) After a leak this morning of a picture of the Lexus LF-Lc Concept, Lexus has decided to be pragmatic and reveal an official photo. After Lexus plans to tease us with their new Detroit Concept were left in tatters this morning when a photo of the LF-Lc Concept leaked from a magazine cover, Lexus has decided to bite the bullet and release an official photo of their new concept car. Just the one, mind you, although we’re sure more will crop up in the coming days.
