16" CHROME REVERSIBLE
ELECTRIC COOLING FAN
200 WATT
# HC-6105-C
 ____________________________

~~~
16 INCH REVERSIBLE CHROME HIGH OUTPUT
ELECTRIC FAN TRUE 200 WATT OUTPUT.
(mounting kit included)
Almost new as it was only used
on a vehicle for a couple of hours
THIS FAN IS RATED AT 2350 CFM.
THIS IS MUCH MORE THAN MOST FACTORY FANS
ON CARS AND TRUCKS. ANY HIGHER THAN THIS
WOULD SURELY CREATE A HUGE AMPERAGE DRAIN
ON THE BATTERY.
CFM RATINGS ARE OFTEN INACCURATE.
THIS FAN PULLS AND PUSHES AN ENORMOUS
AMOUNT OF AIR AND DOES HAVE A 200 WATT MOTOR.
THIS FAN HAS A VERY LOW AMP DRAW -
14 AMPS TO START AND 6-7 RUNNING.
BALL BEARINGS IN THE FRONT AND REAR
OF THE MOTOR.
THE MEASUREMENTS ON THIS FAN ARE:
15 3/4 x 16 1/4 x 3.5
THIS IS NOT COUNTING THE MOUNTING TABS,
BUT YOU CAN MOUNT WITHOUT THEM BY USING
THE TAB SLOTS ON THE FAN FRAME IF NEEDED,
OR SIMPLY ROTATE THE FANS CLOCK POSITION
ON THE RADIATOR.
THIS FAN IS VERY POWERFUL, LIGHT WEIGHT,
AND EFFICIENT.
3 1/2 INCHES THICK AT THE CENTER,
AND 2.2 INCHES AT THE TOP OF FRAME.
The chrome finish on this fan is nothing
more than a flash coating.
It certainly brightens up the fan with a
chrome appearance, but it is by no means
a mirror finish plating.
All chrome over plastic fans on the market
will be no better.
MEASUREMENTS:
15 3/4" FLAT SIDE OF SHROUD
16 1/4" ROUND SIDE OF SHROUD
15" BLADE
Automotive Press Association Design Panel says autonomous cars will tear up design rulebook [w/Video]
Tue, 18 Jun 2013
Fully autonomous cars will challenge everything we know about car design to date, according to industry experts at the Michelin Challenge Design-hosted Automotive Press Association (APA) Design Panel. The APA members-only event, held at the Detroit Athletic Club, carried the theme of 'Driven/Undriven: The Duality of Tomorrow's Automobile' – the subject of this year's Michelin Challenge Design – and explored the design challenges and opportunities that will arise with the advent of autonomous vehicles. The APA Design Panel consisted of Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics, Chris Borroni-Bird, vice president of Strategic Development at Qualcomm and author of Reinventing the Automobile: Personal Urban Mobility of the 21st Century as well as Stewart Reed, chair of the Transportation Design course at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Mercedes C180 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY Review & Road Test (2010) Part 2
Sun, 15 Aug 2010
The second part of our review and road test of the Mercedes C180 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY The C180 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY Executive SE comes in two flavours – auto and manual. Opt for the manual and you get a 1.6 litre Kompressor, but opt for the auto ‘box – which is what we have – and you actually get a 1.8 litre turbo. And the 1.8 litre turbo is a decent lump.
2012 BMW 6-series to get xDrive power
Mon, 19 Sep 2011
Do convertibles and all-wheel drive go together like oil and water, or peas and carrots? BMW seems to think the latter, with the addition of the company's xDrive system to the 2012 BMW 650i. BMW says the all-wheel-driver versions of the 6-series are faster than the rear-drive cars.
