The new Jaguar XE will be revealed on 8 September, and Jaguar has been busy teasing us with titbits of information on their new BMW 3-Series competitor, for example its lightweight aluminium structure and impressive economy. And today it’s time for a first look at the interior layout and details on a new Infotainment system.
Qoros GQ3 (2013) first official pictures
Fri, 28 Dec 2012New Chinese manufacturer Qoros has shown its new Focus and Golf rival - the GQ3 - ahead of its planned debut at the 2013 Geneva motor show. The first in a string of models planned for launch in China and Europe, the Qoros GQ3 is at first glance a reasonably accomplished design which should be able to compete for showroom appeal with the likes of Skoda and the Korean budget brands. Of course, what has held back Chinese car brands in the past is quality: we can't tell from these first official photos whether Qoros has cracked that or not.
Double Oh My! James Bond Aston Martin sells for $4.6 million
Thu, 28 Oct 2010Perhaps the single most breathtaking car of the fall auction season, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5--better known as the James Bond car--sold for $4.61 million to Ohio collector Harry Yeaggy on Wednesday at the RM Auctions Automobiles of London sale. The Aston was expected to sell for more than $5 million, and the sale fell a bit short of that, registering a final bid of 2.6 million British pounds, or $4,114,760. Buyer's premiums raise the total sale price to $4.61 million.
