Aston Martin to recall nearly 17,000 cars

Aston Martin has announced it is to recall 16,825 cars globally to rectify an issue that has emerged with the throttle pedal of its cars. Models built between November 2007 and October 2013 will be recalled, the firm says, because they “may exhibit a defect in the throttle pedal”. Twenty years later, Ferrari is celebrating its anniversary in the country by producing 20 special-edition copies of the 458 Italia inspired by the market. In addition to the car, Ferrari will open its first permanent brand exhibition outside of Maranello at the Italian Center of Shanghai's World Expo Park.
