Porsche at Geneva: Porsche 918 Spyder +Video
Thu, 04 Mar 2010The Porsche 918 Spyder arrives on the floor at Geneva As we said the other day when we reported on the Porsche 918 Spyder reveal at Geneva, we really didn’t see this coming. We all know that Porsche are playing with Hybrid tech on their road cars – the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid is here and the Porsche Panamera Hybrid on the way – and have even had a play with a hybrid track car – the Porsche 911 GT3 R. New Suzuki Swift (2011) revealed
Thu, 10 Jun 2010The 2011 Suzuki Swift revealed After a few leaked and spy pictures cropped up, Suzuki has decided to do the sensible thing and stick out some detail and an official picture to feed interest in the new Suzuki Swift, which is due to go on sale in the Autumn. The new Swift is bigger than the current car – 90mm longer and an extra 50mm in the wheelbase – but despite that it’s both lighter and stiffer which means more room, more performance and better dynamics. When the new Swift launches the existing 1.3 litre lump will be replaced by a new 1.2 litre Dual VVT producing 92bhp and 87lb’ft of torque.
All-new Ford F-150 revealed at 2014 Detroit Motor Show
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Ford has revealed an all-new version of the States' bestselling vehicle, the F-150 pick-up – and in a world first, the US favourite boasts an all-aluminium body and lightweight, high-strength steel frame. The new Ford F-150 is more than 300kg lighter than the model it replaces and, thanks to four engine choices including an all-new downsized 2.7-litre EcoBoost turbo, is much more fuel efficient too. Given that Ford sold a staggering 763,402 F-150s in 2013 alone, these changes will have a very positive effect in terms of the new model's environmental impact.
