Detroit motor show 2010 video review
Thu, 14 Jan 2010Watch our brief video guide to the 2010 North American International Auto Show, aka the Detroit motor show. While writing our show reports from the NAIAS, we shot some quickfire video footage of the key cars, grabbed an interview or two and arranged a debrief with Gavin Green, Tim Pollard and Jonny Smith to reflect on their personal interpretations of the show. It's not professionally shot, but we hope it gives you a flavour of the 2010 Detroit auto show.
2011 SEMA show: Day one highlights
Wed, 02 Nov 2011-- Lexus revealed the 306-hp GS 350 F Sport, which will go on sale in February. It uses a direct-injection 3.5-liter V6, paired with the same paddle-shifting six-speed automatic transmission used in the IS-F. It has four driving modes, an upgraded suspension and four-wheel steering.
Bentley Continental GT – Pop Art
Sun, 05 Jul 2009The Bentley Pop Art - created by Pop Artist Romero Britto So it’s quite startling to see a Bentley Continental GT with a paint job by renowned ‘Pop Artist to the Stars’ Romero Britto, who has created this one-off Continental GT – donated by Bentley Motors – for an exhibition in Germany at Automobil Forum Unter den Linden, which runs from 10th July until 6th September. But as I’m sure you’ll have guessed, this is not just a Pop Art paint job for the sake of it. The Pop Art Bentley will be auctioned off at the end of the exhibition in aid of the Nathalie Todenhöfer Foundation for multiple sclerosis and Best Buddies, a charity for the mentally challenged – which is all very noble – and good on Bentley for donating the Continental GT.
