You are buying the rim as we took it off of the vehicle. No polishing, painting, etc will be done to it. Even if yours is good now, it'd be nice to have an extra one in case you might need one in the future. The classic Aston had belonged to the same family since it was three-months-old and was joined by another DB MKIII example, a rolling restoration project that fetched £70,000. Another notable sale was a "time-warp" 1970 Ford Escort Delux MkI, which had covered just 2,600 miles in 40 years.

VW picks Browning to head U.S. operations, reports say
Sun, 12 Sep 2010Volkswagen has picked former General Motors and Ford manager Jonathan Browning to head its U.S. operations, reports said Sunday. Browning, 51, would succeed Stefan Jacoby, who left Volkswagen of America in June and last month became CEO of Volvo Cars.
