This Buy It Now is for a complete set of used Mercedes Benz sport passenger car wheels and tires. They are the stylish 7 split spoke design that come as a factory sport package option on late model (2008+) C300's.  They should fit any Mercedes Benz passenger car or other vehicle make with the 5 X 112 bolt pattern.  Please research to make sure these fit your vehicle before purchasing as I am not able to make any guarantees regarding fitment.  The tires are Continental brand all the way around.  The fronts are the ContiPro Contact model and the rears are the Extreme Contact model.  They are 235/45/17's in the front and 245/40/17's in the rear all with approximately 4/32 tread left.  The wheels are staggered 7.5 by 17 in the front and 8.5 by 17 in the rear and have minor scuffs on a few of the wheels. They are overall in excellent condition and would be a great upgrade or replacement set for any old, outdated, or damaged wheels and are a bargain at twice the price considering what Mercedes sells these wheels for new.  These Continental tires also sell for anywhere between $200-300 new as well.  Feel free to contact me with any questions via email or call me at 480.703.4466.  Thank you. Shipping is $149 via FedEx and is fully insured. Let me know if you have any questions at all.

Hyundai ix35 makes it to Harrods

Tue, 08 Jun 2010

The Hyundai ix35 makes it to a Harrods window display We’re not too sure whether we should take the news that the Hyundai ix35 will take pride of place in one of Harrods’ Brompton Road window displays is indicative of the progress Hyundai has made in the last couple of years, or it’s the new owners’ policy to show its visitors what the proletariat are driving these days. Whichever it is, there will be a top of the range Hyundai ix35 Premium in dazzling white strutting its stuff – well, sitting in the window anyway – in one of Harrods’ window displays for the whole of this week (w/b 7/6). This whole ‘Hyundai in Harrods’ is a bit of PR flim-flam to get some headlines and copy (see, it works) but it does show just how far Hyundai has come.

Watch the Porsche 911 GT3 rear-steering system work

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

A handful of manufacturers have offered four-wheel steering in the past including Honda, Nissan, BMW, Mitsubishi, Mazda and, most recently, Acura and Porsche. On Monday, suspension expert Elephant Racing uploaded a video to its YouTube channel demonstrating the feature on the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3. In most four-wheel steering cars--Acura and Porsche included—a computer controls the movable rear wheels.
