For sale is an original
factory 17056264 QUADRAJET FOR 1976 Pontiac 400 cu. V8 Engine with an Automatic Transmission. This Carb
has been in storage for quite along time. Will work on many other year 400, 350 engines from this time period also. This is obviously a used carb, but it is in my opinion in good used condition. SEE Pictures.
All the numbers on the side tab are 17056264 and under that is F6 AFN, SEE PICTURES.
QUADRAJET IS AN EXCELLENT PERFORMER FOR ALL 65 TO 78 PONTIAC Engines. CARB IS A BOLT ON FOR THESE APPLICATIONS, ALL HAVE THE SAME FUEL INLET LOCATION.
This carburetor is
original, nothing seems to be stuck and all moving parts move freely
with no issues. It is also pretty clean for its age and still has
decent coloring.

OF CARB FOR HOW CLEAN THE BUTTERFLIES ARE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A REBUILD KIT FOR
CARB WAS IN STORAGE FOR QUITE AWHILE AND WAS PRETTY DUSTY WHEN I
TOOK IT OUT OF STORAGE. I cleaned it up a little with carb cleaner and
a tooth brush, then coated it with WD40 to preserve and protect it.
You may be lucky and it could possibly be put on a motor the way it is
and work great, but I cant guarantee that so I recommend it be rebuilt.
I dont have a motor to put it on or a way to test it, so dont ask.

Island tour kicks off Hilton Head weekend
Fri, 04 Nov 2011Intermittent sun and cool temperatures greeted the several dozen participants in the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d’Elegance “behind the gates” driving tour Friday, kicking off the concours weekend. The 30-some mile tour wound in and out of several gated communities near Hilton Head Island, stopping at various points along the way for people to get a view of the cars. The tour featured an eclectic mix of vehicles, something not always seen in events such as this.
