Mercedes AMG and Cigarette Racing team up for ultra-performance boat
Tue, 16 Feb 2010Two celebrated performance brands--Mercedes AMG and Cigarette Racing--unveiled a custom Cigarette inspired by the SLS AMG (“Better Than the Original?”, AW, Nov. 30, 2009), at the Miami International Boat Show. Though the boat is based on Cigarette's 46' Rider, Cigarette says a clean-sheet approach was used to build the all-new boat.
Renault unveils R-Link tablet
Wed, 07 Dec 2011Renault is aiming to take its in-vehicle user interface modules to the next level with the new R-Link tablet system announced at LeWeb 2011 today, December 7. R-Link features a seven-inch tactile screen, steering wheel-mounted controls and voice recognition systems. It is simultaneously connected to the vehicle's information and data center, the user's mobile phone and to the Cloud. The company claims that the bespoke UI features interactive and intuitive menus, which enable users to access all the car's functions and data easily.

After leaks of images and photos of mock-ups what we thought would be called the F620 turns out to be the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Despite the name attached to the leaks of the new F12 being wrong, the photos were pretty much right.
