Bought as part of a large lot of bug stuff. Was told it ran great when pulled (sold bug without motor) and had around 30,000 miles on it. I had a friend who has rebuilt a dozen or so veedubs( bugs, ghia's, fastback) and he said it felt pretty tight, flywheel turns with compression resistance. If you want me to check something specific please ask. I can takemore pics too, just tell me what you want to see. I am willing( within reason) to check it as thouroughly as possible so you know exactly what you might be bidding on. I will be listing other motor parts such as carbs, intakes, exhaust, so please look at those. I may ship but I have a current back injury so unless an agreement is made before the end of the auction, consider it pick up only.

Move over! Fixed Penalties for middle lane hogs
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Move over or get a fine! Middle lane hogs to get fixed penalties It really is remarkable the number of drivers who think three-lane motorways are split in to three lanes – lorries, them and idiots in the outside lane – and spend their whole journey sat in lane two regardless. That’s bad enough if you’re driving a car, but it’s much worse if you’re driving a heavy goods vehicle that can’t use lane three and ends up baulked and frustrated by the man with the pipe and elbow patches driving ‘steadily’ on his way.
