Honda S2000 sports car gone after 09 model year
Mon, 26 Jan 2009Honda confirmed on Monday that the S2000 sports car is done after the 2009 model year. The two-seater was launched in 1999 as a 2000 model and is a favorite of enthusiasts who enjoy its slick manual transmission and tight chassis. The club racer-inspired trim, the S2000 CR, was added for the 2008 model year.

The new BMW Concept 6-series Coupé (2010) will form the centrespiece at the 2010 Paris motor show.Forget the 'concept' tag in the name: this is the real 6-series, near as damn it. It's a 2+2 coupé, although Munich will launch the 6-series convertible (F12) first in March 2011; the 6-series coupé (F13) based on this two-door arrives in September 2011.Which 6-series models are coming?Expect 640i and 650i petrol 6-series, while the diesel Six gets upgraded to a 640d.
BMW X4 confirmed for production in 2014
Mon, 16 Jan 2012More details have emerged about BMW's forthcoming X4. As previously reported by CAR, the new 2014 X4 is in essence a baby X6 - a sort of squashed coupe-cum-4x4 to appeal to outward-going types. Now Frank-Peter Arndt, BMW's board member in charge of production, has confirmed the new BMW X4 will be built at Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina, USA.
