Tesla: Model S sales to begin in second quarter of 2012

Tesla Motors plans to begin delivering the Model S electric sedan in the second quarter of 2012 and expects to produce about 20,000 units annually, the company said at the Detroit auto show on Monday. Tesla has booked more than 3,000 reservations for the Model S in North America and Europe. The car's expected base price is $49,000.

Jaguar has released an official teaser photo of its new XFR-S, which is set to be the most powerful saloon car ever to wear the leaping cat badge. As we can see from the new photo, the XFR-S model will get an even more aggressive bodykit than the standard XFR, as well as carbonfibre elements up front. Honda CR-Z Mugen (2011): the first sketches

This is our first glimpse of the new, Mugen-tweaked Honda CR-Z. Developed by Mugen Euro, the UK-based arm of Honda’s long-standing tuning partner Mugen, this CR-Z features a whole raft of tweaks to turn it into a hot hybrid. As with the previous UK-spec Civic Type R Mugen, this new Mugen model is currently being touted as a one-off prototype, but just as that Civic was then built in limited numbers the same may happen with the CR-Z – and the individual parts may become available as aftermarket accessories too.
